Family Reunion

We missed daddy while he was away.
Here are a few photos leading up to his arrival home and the reunion.

This mirror had been tucked away for awhile. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but the kids enjoyed admiring themselves in it...so it goes from room to room just change things up a bit.

This is what one has to allow sometimes in order to get a shower in.

I had seven Culver's ice cream coupons so we decided to go out for a treat.
 Silly boy.
 Tavin showing "safety first."

Painting cherry blossoms with some friends.

I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers! What a lovely surprise!

Daddy is home!!!! The kids couldn't decide what to play first!

Daddy brought home some gifts!

An airplane for Abe.
A crown for Princess Matilda. Or Queen Matilda, depends on the day.
 A cool car for Tavin.
 Read to me, Daddy!

Spring is here!

We've had some beautiful March weather! There were a couple days in the 70's! We took advantage of the great weather of course. It has taken awhile for the ground to dry up but we were prepared with rubber boots this year!

Matilda "reading" a book and Tavin "writing" in his journal.

You don't see the teeter totters at parks like what was around when I was a kid. Now there are these safer bouncy versions. Oh well, the kids still have fun.

Abraham's first experience with grass.

Not quite sure what to think.

Yay for finally being able to dig in the dirt!

Abraham playing in the grass while his big brother and sister play T-ball in the background.

They said they were having a party. Bunk beds are fun!

Another day at the park.

We went to Perkins for pie on Pi day.

Peanut butter chocolate pie.

Mmm, they didn't like it at all. I hardly got any.

Another quiet, beautiful day outside.

This was the best shot of the three of them together. Still pretty darn cute. (Matilda is obsessed with those striped pants. She wants to wear them all the time no matter what.)

I love this photo. Cute little dimple showing on his cute, expressive face while brother and sister run in the background.

Opening St. Patrick's Day cards from Nana.

Pretty feather hair clip.

Being festive in their green shirts.

Washing the window crayon art off of the window.
They got it pretty clean too and they enjoyed doing it!

Matilda was doing her exercises.

We went to Hobby Lobby and finally picked out some frames. It was about time to get these all on the wall before they were too outdated. Matilda looks lovely posing there too.

Abraham has discovered the kitchen cupboards and he couldn't be happier!

"Knock knock" They were taking turns telling knock knock jokes.

Cutting out shapes.

Phases of the moon with Oreos. I don't know how much about the phases of the moon they really learned, but it was a delicious lesson.

Spring is on its way! It wasn't as warm as we had hoped but the sunshine felt great.
