Tummy Time

Yes, Tavin is rolling over from his tummy to his back! He did this a few days ago but I didn't have the camera handy. This time I was prepared!

...and even more rolling! Just so you all know it wasn't a fluke. He is so strong. What a great baby he is. We couldn't be happier.
He had some naked time last night along with a massage. He likes being naked as long as the room is warm. I guess who could blame him?
I can't believe he will be three months old on December 30th. The time has gone by very quickly. It makes me a little sad. He has grown out of some of his outfits. I didn't expect to be packing away clothes so soon. It is bittersweet to see him grow so quickly.
We are looking forward to Nana and Papa meeting our Tavin on his first Christmas.

DannyBoi was looking pitiful. He gets so jealous of Tavin, I had to include him.

Tavin's two month checkup

Tavin now weighs 11lbs 4 oz and is 22 1/2 in. long. He had his first set of shots today. He didn't like them! Oh how he cried, I almost cried too. I hate seeing him cry like that. We stayed in the office for a bit so I could calm him. I brought baby Tylenol with me, thank goodness. Luckily I read an article about a mom going to the pharmacy after her baby's appointment to buy Tylenol, so I wanted to be prepared. He is still sleeping in his car seat, I thought that would be best for awhile. Now we are getting some snow. I'm glad we are inside where it is warm.

Tavin is changing so much!

Here he is in one of the outfits from his great aunt Karen. So Cute! We went to a playdate with him in this outfit. Everyone just loved it.

Thanksgiving

Wow, what a great Thanksgiving! We took so many pictures, it was hard to choose which to put on the blog. Everyone took turns holding Tavin. We all had so much fun visiting, eating, drinking and holding Tavin.

Tavin also got his first basketball. We are excited to see him play with it someday!

Here is a video of Tavin right before he got the hiccups. He likes his pacifier and a little bouncing in his bouncy seat to get rid of them and put him in a better mood....dancing with mommy or daddy helps too.

Oh my gosh he is smiling! I finally caught it on camera. He is such a happy little boy and we are such happy parents!

Little Big Guy

Our little baby now weighs 9 lbs and 2 oz. Wow! He is growing so fast. Newborn clothes are now tight on him if they fit him at all. We had to do some clothes shopping yesterday. Oh what fun! I had to hold back, there are so many cute little outfits out there. We even found a cute Halloween costume for next year. (It was on sale for $2.74, I couldn't pass up such a great deal.) I won't tell you what it is though, you will have to wait. ;-)
Teddy got to spend most of the afternoon all alone with Tavin. He enjoyed his chance to bond with Tavin without anyone telling him what to do and what not to do. ;-) He is such a good daddy.
We love Tavin SO MUCH. He is just wonderful.

Aunties from Michigan

Tavin got to meet Elly, Anne, Robert and Liam. We had such a good time! Elly and Anne made some delicious food and took turns holding Tavin. Anne had Liam clinging to her quite a bit, she now has one arm much stronger than the other.

Anne and Elly enjoyed walks around Lake Phalen with the boys. The weather was perfect.

We all went to the Como Conservatory and enjoyed the plants and flowers, there was a cute little room for the boys to play in too. What a beautiful place!

We enjoyed our visit with Elly, Anne, Robert and Liam. It was nice to get to know each other a little better. We hope to see them again very soon!

DannyBoi

This football jersey is meant for a two year old. We figured it wouldn't fit Tavin for awhile. It is a tad too tight for the Boi, but Ted enjoys putting it on him for game day.

Tavin update

Tavin is now 7.5 lbs and 21 in. He is growing so much! He was tongue tied and had to have his Frenulum clipped. I think it was harder on me than it was on him. He seemed more annoyed by the doctor's fingers in his mouth than by the actual clipping. He pretty much slept through the process. Nursing should be a little easier for both of us. He makes the cutest little noises, sometimes he sounds like a baby elephant.

Binky

I bought a few different binky's for Tavin to try. This one is in the top two. It looks so big on his little face!

Game Day

Ted and Tavin love to watch the Vikings together. Even DannyBoi wore a jersey the other day. (he wasn't too pleased though)
