Tavin Carpet Swimming

We call this "Carpet Swimming" because it really does look like he is swimming on the carpet! I think his time in the pool at the Dells gave him some ideas. Tavin is getting so good at tummy time. He is ready to move. He scoots around so quickly, you can't turn your back on him for even a second! Last week at ECFE Tavin and another baby girl were reaching out and holding each other's hands. It was so sweet! Then later that same day at a playdate Tavin hooked arms with another little baby girl while we had them on the floor to take their picture. They held hands for a little bit too. So very cute! Tavin is busy with his girlfriends!

Soothing Tavin's gums

Tavin has been teething, as most of you know. We are trying all of the tricks; Motrin/Tylenol, Oragel, Teething Tablets, cold washcloth, mesh thingy filled with ice, cold teethers, whole peeled apple and now cold cucumber and green pepper. Poor little guy, those teeth need to pop through already!

Aunt Heidi sure can make Tavin laugh! Heidi was visiting with some friends this weekend. One of Heidi's friends is not a cat lover at all and yet Gracie was just drawn to her, she kept sitting on her lap. Gracie ignored the friend who loves cats. Isn't that strange? DannyBoi got into their purses and ate two packs of gum and some minty Mentos and his breath is still bad! He did not get sick either. We think he is part goat, part elephant and just a little basset hound. Ted calls him Elegoat.

Anyone who has met Tavin knows that he loves to jump and kick his feet. We finally got a Jumperoo off of Craig's List for him. It is like brand new and half the price! Tavin loves it and it gives me the chance to make myself a sandwich or switch the laundry. :-)

The Dells

Tavin enjoyed seeing his cousins, aunts, uncles and Nana and Papa. Tavin got to go swimming in the pool for the first time. He enjoyed the water, I think he is a natural swimmer. We look forward to meeting up with the family again sometime soon.

Tavin in the Bumbo Chair

Tavin seems to like the Bumbo Chair. (thank you Karyn!) He likes to bang his hands on the tray with or without a toy in his hands. At the very end of the video he puts his hands in his mouth and spits up a bit.
