Christmas

This was an exciting Christmas for Tavin. He enjoyed all the food, fun and chaos with his cousins. He was so exhausted on Christmas Day that he actually feel asleep at the dinner table on Daddy's lap. I guess I could have easily done that as well. Tavin received some wonderful gifts and he is so thankful for all of them.

Merry Christmas!

Our 2010 Christmas Card. Merry Christmas!

Hair Raising!

Static electricity can be fun!
Tavin was having a rough time with his gums this day. He now has 12 teeth! Chomp, chomp!

Mommy and Tavin

Mommy and Tavin! I don't get the opportunity to have my photo taken with Tavin very often. This was taken on Thanksgiving and I forgot to post it!

The Rocking Chair

Tavin has fallen in love with this rocking chair. He runs up to it and tries to climb on it. Once he realizes he needs help to get on the chair he says "eh, eh, eh, up."
I'm sure it won't be long before he doesn't need my help getting on this chair. *sniff, sniff*
After he is on the chair he looks at whoever is around expectantly, you can tell he is thinking "well, aren't you going to rock the chair for me?"

Silly Tavin

In these videos Tavin shows off the new sound effects he has learned to make. It is playtime all the time with Tavin. There is something about dinner time that makes Tavin want to be extra silly. He probably thinks his highchair is a stage and we are his audience. It seems more food ends up in his hair and on his face than in his little belly.
Our little guy is quite the dare devil, he is always wanting to climb up on anything he can. He sticks his little feet in the holes of the baby gate and lifts himself up, it won't be long before he scales the baby gate. He has also learned that if he puts a big enough toy near the couch he can use it to climb up onto the couch. Tavin is as smart as he is handsome and keeps us on our toes.

Tavin the Entertainer

Tavin has been entertaining us after dinner. It is dinner and then a show right in the middle of the kitchen. Tavin does squat exercises in three's and then he claps. He got Great Grandma to do the counting for him. She says "one, two, three" while he squats then he stands up straight and claps three times. I don't know where he got the idea of the squat exercises because I don't do those!

Tavin likes to go up to Great Grandma and put his hands on his head and say "Oh!" and sometimes "Oh no!" He and Great Grandma laugh and laugh with each other and take turns saying "Oh!"

Tavin also likes to dance and run in place with me. He plays Great Grandma's stereo and bops up and down to the music. He has been throwing his arms up in the air when I say "so big" and he giggles.

Our little Tavin is getting bigger and stronger and faster!
