Some April Showers...

Working with their new garden tools that they got from the Easter Bunny. As if they need an excuse to play in dirt, mud, water or sand.

Hot chocolate and marshmallows after some drizzly fun outside.

Matilda was helping make the Mac and Cheese. She says, "I'm a very helpful girl!"

Just being goofy.

Abraham and Matilda both love playing in the sand.
I better get used to sand in everything now that the weather is improving.

Tavin playing with patterns.

The kids got bikes!
(Tavin's bike was his cousin, Sara's, bike.
It needed a little bit of work but now it's ship shape.
Matilda is borrowing her bike, we are making a trade with our trike for the bike for the season.)

Easter

We decided to paint eggs instead of dye them this year.

While Abe played nearby on the floor.
 They are so serious.
We went to a friend's house for an Easter egg hunt the day before Easter.

 Mmm, candy.
 Abe's first taste.
 Daddy and Abe.
Easter at Great Grandma's in Irene with the cousins.
They're a fun bunch. I guess Cecilia was feeling too old to be in the photos this year.
 Checking out their goodies.
 Bubbles!

Family Reunion

We missed daddy while he was away.
Here are a few photos leading up to his arrival home and the reunion.

This mirror had been tucked away for awhile. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but the kids enjoyed admiring themselves in it...so it goes from room to room just change things up a bit.

This is what one has to allow sometimes in order to get a shower in.

I had seven Culver's ice cream coupons so we decided to go out for a treat.
 Silly boy.
 Tavin showing "safety first."

Painting cherry blossoms with some friends.

I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers! What a lovely surprise!

Daddy is home!!!! The kids couldn't decide what to play first!

Daddy brought home some gifts!

An airplane for Abe.
A crown for Princess Matilda. Or Queen Matilda, depends on the day.
 A cool car for Tavin.
 Read to me, Daddy!
