What a fun first birthday party for Tavin. He is loved so much! We had pizza, cake and ice cream. Tavin loves pizza but he didn't know what to think about the cake. He didn't get as messy as we had anticipated.

His girl cousins (Cecilia, Piper and Raina) we there and his two girlfriends (Saige and Evy) came to help celebrate too. Tavin got great presents from friends and family, we are very blessed. His Nana and Papa sent him some jungle animals, he thinks those are pretty neat. He also got cars, trucks, a vtech learning turtle, clothes (which I appreciate) a fun activity block, a picture frame and a scrap book for me to fill up with pictures and other memorabilia.

The kids all had fun playing and watching Tavin open presents. I think Tavin enjoyed the wrapping paper so much that he forgot about the presents. He and his daddy took a nice long nap while Heidi and I took the girls to the park to play and blow bubbles.

Tavin has been teething (again) and now has TWO molars to show for it. I think more are close behind. Tavin is walking all over the place, which is more of a challenge for me at times, and he is learning more sign language. He is such a smarty pants! He is babbling all the time and even says some distinguishable words from time to time. Duck, quack quack, yeah, no, mamma....just to name a few.

We are enjoying the Indian Summer while we can, going on walks and taking advantage of the park swing. On Thursdays Tavin goes to Kindermusik in Sioux Falls followed by time with Grandpa and/or Heidi, Chad and Raina. He got to see the Butterfly House recently too.
It is always a fun time with Tavin!
